Amitabha Buddhist Centre

The Amitabha Centre in Bristol, is an active and flourishing Buddhist community.

Everyone is welcome to drop-in to the centre and enjoy the peaceful and friendly atmosphere.

There is a variety of meditation classes on offer from beginners lunchtime relaxation sessions to in-depth study programmes. The classes cover all aspects of Buddhist thought and meditation and are held in Bristol and throughout the Southwest region. Whether you're new to meditation and Buddhism or an experienced Buddhist meditator you are welcome to learn more.

Meditation is of value to everyone because it helps us find inner peace, real happiness and contentment and the ability to share it with others; cope with the pressures and stresses of work and modern life; develop mental clarity, concentration and focus; and relate to others in a calm, caring, and constructive manner.

The centre is also home to the World Peace Cafe, relaxing gardens and a small shop. Please note the Cafe hours have changed to Monday ~ Friday, 11am to 4pm.
