HorseWorld is a registered charity which rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes horses, ponies and donkeys in need.
HorseWorld is located on the outskirts of Bristol, in Whitchurch. We have lots of parking space, and there are hard, level surfaces throughout the Centre.
HorseWorld's Visitor Centre is open every day from 10:00-17:00 in the summer (Last admissions 16:00), and from 10:00-16:00 Tuesdays to Sundays in the winter.
HorseWorld is a re-homing organisation, seeking out permanent and loving loan homes for the horses and ponies in its care.
Volunteers assist with all aspects of our work and there are lots of ways you can get involved!
We welcome applications from all sections of the community. Many of our voluntary roles require no specialist skills or experience - a friendly and co-operative manner are often all that's required!
To volunteer in most roles you must be at least 16 years old and able to provide two references. This includes helping with the horses or assisting in the visitor centre cafe.
Whether you are available on regular week days or weekends, or just occasionally, we're interested in hearing from you!
