The most significant task for Bathford Link is the transportation of clients to and from Batheaston Medical Centre, local hospitals and the collection of prescriptions.
Transport is provided by using private cars of volunteers (some 30 in number) all of whom are covered by special insurance appropriate to suit charitable work.
Bathford Link also endeavours to meet a wider range of needs, including help with official forms, advice on seeking services and assistance, a weekly coffee morning and other social events and outings.
Bathford Link organises the Link Information Centre at Mountain Wood Community Centre, meeting every Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:30. This is a popular place for coffee and a chat and provides an opportunity to sort out problems.
