Organisation Name

Several homes and a hospital on this 9 acre site provide an environment for the care and rehabilitation of patients living with neurological conditions including brain injury. In total 151 beds are available across 3 different types of care; high dependency for people with complex nursing needs including ventilation, Neuro-Behavioural for those needing extra input on behavioural issues and general rehabilitation, where patients can progress through from wards, to homes and eventually to a bungalow on site to trial independent living. Throughout the patient's time at Glenside, they have access to Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, a Hydrotherapy pool, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists, as well as Consultants, nursing staff, care staff and activity organisers.

We assess patients in person once we have received a referral from a consultant/PCT.
