This organisation offers assessments and information to help disabled or older people safely maintain their mobility and independence. The following services are available, conducted by highly trained Driving Advisers and Occupational Therapists:
INDIVIDUAL DRIVING AND ADAPTATION ASSESSMENTS
The aim of these assessments is to keep people independently mobile and help them achieve safe driving. There is a selection of adapted cars at the centre, including a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV).
These assessments provide training and advice on getting in and out of a car more comfortably, and also for loading and stowing of mobility equipment including the use of an EQUIPMENT HOIST.
Through professional review of personal requirements these free assessments provide the information you need in order to decide on a genuinely appropriate scooter.
Free advice and information is available on a wide range of driving and mobility issues.
DO PLEASE CALL US to find out more and how to make an appointment. Every effort is made to answer telephone calls personally, but at times this is not always possible and a message left on the answer phone will be dealt with as soon as possible.
