Organisation Name
The Teenage Parents Project

A support service for young parents in the BS13 area of Bristol. Open to parents aged 16-25 years. Activities include Drop in Sessions and training courses. A fully staffed onsite creche runs during any activities. All activities are held at the Tenants Centre with the exception of the Wednesday Drop in sessions which run from 12:30-14:30 at the Hartcliffe Early Years Centre and Friday Drop in sessions which run from 12:30-14:30 at the Highridge Childrens Centre. Times and days are subject to change.

The Hartcliffe and Withywood Child Contact Centre also runs from the Tenants Centre on Saturdays and referrals are made by CAFCASS or solicitors' firms across Bristol.

The young parents attending the project devise the activity programme and also make up the majority of the Board of Directors. In addition to the groups, the project offers individual support and practical advice. Home or Project visits with current members can be arranged for new referrals. Education, training and developing skills for the workplace are prioritised at the Project and new courses are continually being offered, so please call to find out the current schedule and get referral forms.
