Description

NHS BaNES Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is the organisation responsible for the planning and buying of local NHS services.

The CCG took over from BaNES Primary Care Trust on April 1, 2013.

This means that decisions about health care in Bath & North East Somerset are now being made by local GPs, who really know what their patients need.

Maintaining high quality care for patients is our top priority. We will listen to our patients, communities and partner organisations and work with them to deliver the best possible services.

We are committed to making it easier for patients to access the services they need and will work closely with our partners to ensure this happens.

NHS BaNES Clinical Commissioning Group follows NHS England's advice regarding the use of patient information. This guidance can be viewed on the Information Governance area of their website: http://www.england.nhs.uk/ourwork/tsd/ig/
