Provides a loan service of manual or powered wheelchairs and electric scooters to anyone with limited mobility to make the city centre more accessible for shopping or other purposes. You do not have to be registered disabled. The scheme also offers an escort service for people with a visual impairment, and anyone who requires it. (Subject to the availability of volunteers). Also overnight hire of manual wheelchairs. You need to take formal identification to register as a first time member. Book in advance. If you need to be met from bus, rail station, car parks or dedicated bays please say at the time of booking.
