Re:Work offers a referral service to ages 15 and upwards living in the Knowle West, Hartcliffe, Withywood, Bedminster areas of Bristol.
Carries out construction work on their own (residential) premises and other community facilities with young people and volunteers being trained in some basic construction skills.
The furniture restoration project is establishing on-going links with various companies to donate reject or shop-soiled furniture. This will then be repaired, cleaned and sold in the Re-Store shop.
Along with private gardening work around the Knowle West area, Grow and Mow's keen gardeners are also doing more public spaces such as 'The Knowle West Health Park', 'The Opportunities Park', various public lane ways and open spaces. Grow and Mow offer competitive prices and a reduced rate for the older and disabled in the Knowle West area.
Funded by a variety of sources.
