Section of South Gloucestershire's Children and Young People deptartment - Education Other Than At School (EOTAS). EOTAS provides teaching for all pupils who are unable to attend School for a variety of reasons including ill health, disaffection and permanent and temporary exclusion. Pupils are taught in Hospital, at home (when physically unable to leave the home), at the Cotswold Education Centre (CEC)/ Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) (2 sites) and within small groups or individually if necessary, at The Learning Centre / CEC / PRU.
Referrals are addressed in line with the South Gloucesterhsire Hospital/Medical Tuition Policy and/or The Cotswold Education Centre Admissions Policy - available on request. All referrals are addressed to the multi disciplinary request for service and admissions panel, chaired by Gill Beech.
