We deliver a hot meal between 11am and 2pm seven days a week, which is ready to eat straight away. If needed, we can deliver a teatime meal - sandwiches or salad with a cake - at the same time, for later that day. You can choose from a wide menu offering a range of choices. Most diets can be accommodated, including diabetic, vegetarian, low fat, and gluten free. We also cater for religious and cultural beliefs. Any particular dislikes can also be removed from your personal menu.
The person delivering your meal will encourage you to eat and can help with small tasks such as fetching cutlery, removing lids and cutting up meals. We'll also check that you're comfortable and secure. We do this every time we visit, and if there is a problem we can contact your family or your doctor if you need them.
Anyone can apply to receive our mobile meals and all ages can apply for the service. You don't need a referral from social services or your GP. You can arrange meals delivery for yourself or for a relative, friend or neighbour. You can start receiving them the following day.
