Info & Resources
Welcome to Well Aware's Info & Resources section. Here you will find a variety of useful information and resources to complement the directory of services on the main Well Aware:
- Our Learning Difficulties Resource has lots of helpful information for people with learning difficulties and their carers, including a list of specific learning difficulties services in Easy English. Look out for the red door symbol.

- Our Low Vision Resource will help if you have been diagnosed with sight loss or another visual impairment. Its sections cover a wide range of low vision issues, starting with advice on what to do when first diagnosed, practical support, emotional support and much more. The resource can be found wherever the Low Vision symbol is displayed.

- Our Events Diary lists upcoming events being run by Well Aware members. If you are registered Well Aware user, and would like your event listed on it, just click on the Events Diary and follow the instructions on the page. If your service is not yet on Well Aware, click here or on the Login/Register button at the top of this page to put yourself on today.
- The Care Forum has lots of volunteering opportunities if you have a couple of hours to spare a week. If you like working with people and would like to help vulnerable and socially isolated people get online, the Well Aware Outreach Volunteer role is for you. Or if you would like to save lives by helping raise awareness of the signs of bladder and kidney cancer, why not become a Volunteer Champion for The Care Forum and Avon, Somerset & Wiltshire NHS Cancer Services' joint new project? To find out more about these and all the other volunteering opportunities The Care Forum offers, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kerri Mann, on kerrimann@thecareforum.org.uk or 0117 958 9306.
