Lip Reading classes take place in the following venues during term time:

  • Chipping Sodbury Old Grammar School Rooms on a Monday from 10am – midday
  • Thornbury Armstrong Hall on a Wednesday from 1.30 to 3.30pm
  • Warmley War Memorial and Community Centre on a Wednesday from 10am to midday

South Gloucestershire Deaf Association (SGDA)

Free membership of the association is available to all deaf and hard of hearing people in South Gloucestershire and to hearing people who have an interest in deaf issues.

Environmental Equipment display, Minor hearing aid repair/battery service. Organise sign language classes, Deaf Awareness classes, Interest Group meetings, Video Library. Coffee mornings every third Tuesday, pension and benefit services advice on last Friday of each month, equipment sessions with an occupational therapist (OT) every Thursday
