Creating favourites lists in Well Aware is simple and an excellent way to save time and stay organised. There are two way to store favourites, either in a single list called "My Favourites" or in multiple lists which you as the user name.

Please be aware that favourites saved when you are not logged in will not be retained when you exit your current Well Aware session, please log in to save favourites.

 

Adding to one favourites list

 

Once you have logged in, performed a search and opened the listing of a service you would like to bookmark, simply click the "Add to favourites" button on the right hand side of the screen.

 

 

Clicking this will open a dialog box, prompting you to confirm the saving of the favourite and to which list. As we are only using one list in this example, tick the box for the default list "My Favourites". Click "Save Favourites" to confirm.

 

You will be returned to the service listing page where the "Add to favourites" button has changed to "Manage Favourites", you will also see a message confirming that the service has been saved in your favourites.

Adding to favourites when using multiple lists 

 

Once you have logged in, performed a search and opened the listing of a service you would like to bookmark, simply click the "Add to favourites" button on the right hand side of the screen.

 

‚ÄčClicking this will open a dialog box, prompting you to confirm the saving of the favourite and to which list. In this example we have created a list called "Services for older people"

To add a second service to the newly made favourites list, perform another search and find a service you wish to bookmark. Clicking "Add to Favourites" opens the confirmation window, however, now the favourites list "Service for older people" is also available. To add additional favourites to this list, tick the corresponding box. You can save a service to multiple favourites lists in this way.

 
 
To create another favourites list, follow the procedure as above. In the example below, we have created a list called "Coffee", specifically to store information about coffee mornings. For demonstration purposes we will also store the information of the individual service, in this case a Coffee morning, to the "Services for older people" list. 
 
 
 
Accessing your favourites

 

Once logged in, you can access your favourites list/s by click the "My Favourites" button located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

 

 

A new window will open displaying all of the favourites which you have stored. You can choose which favouites list is displayed by clicking its name in the green box on the right hand side of the screen. In the example below, the favourites list "Services for older people" has been choosen.

 

Managing favourites

 

The Manage Favourites function allows you to add or remove any given service to or from one or multiple favourites lists. To enter manage mode, view the details of a service which you currently have stored as a favourite. Click the "Manage Favourites" tab on the right hand side of the screen.

 

 

You will now be presented with a dialog box listing all your current favourites lists, each list has a corresponding radio box which can be ticked, to add the current service; or unticked, to remove the current service. You can add a service to multiple favourites lists.

 

Once you have finished click "Save Favourites".

 

Deleting Favourites

 

Once logged in click the "My Favourites" button located in upper right corner of the screen. This will display a list of all your saved favourites. To delete a favourite simply click the "Remove from favourites" button below the corresponding service on the left side of the screen.

 

 

You do not need to confirm this deletion and no confirmation is given when the process is complete.

To remove a whole list, delete each individual services in turn, this will remove it entirely.

 

Printing

 

To print the contents of a favourites list, click the "My Favourites" button located in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This will open a new page displaying all stored favourites and on the right a list of favourite lists. Click the name of the favourite list that you wish to print.

 

 

Once selected click the "Download PDF" button just below the list of favourites on the right hand side of the screen. This will open a new dialog box which gives output options for the favourites list. You can adjust the font size and the level of detail included in the PDF file which will be created.

 

 

Once you have selected your preferred options, click "Download PDF", this will open a new window displaying the favourites list in PDF format, ready to be printed (or saved).

 

 

Click the printer icon in the top right hand corner of the page. The page changes slightly, giving you further options specific to your own computer setup and printer configuration. To proceed with printing a hard copy click the blue "Print" button located in the top left hand side of the screen.
