Sight loss can be a challenging experience, whether it is something that has been affecting a person’s life for a long time or whether it is a new experience.  It may also be that sight loss is causing you to have difficult feelings like sadness, anger or fear. It can be very helpful to explore these issues with a trained listener, someone outside their immediate circle of family and friends.

The Action for Blind People’s counselling service in Bristol offers a free and confidential emotional support and counselling service for people living, working or studying in Bristol who are affected by sight loss.
