Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (BNSSG CCG) is the organisation that is responsible for planning and buying healthcare services for the people of Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
They have produced a draft patient and public involvement, engagement and participation policy. This policy sets out the principles that will underpin all their involvement, engagement and participation, the commitments they make to ensure everyone who wants to can take part, and an overview of the ways in which they will carry involvement, engagement and participation out.
They are now looking to gather and respond to the views of the public on this draft policy, with the engagement period starting on 4th November and running until midday on 13th December.
The draft policy is available below, in both written and audio versions, and is being distributed via newsletters, partner organisations and local networks.
They are inviting people to complete a short survey to feed back and comment on the draft policy. A link to the survey is below. It is also available in different languages and formats on request. If you do not want to complete the survey, you can also email or write in to them.
If you have any questions about this policy, the engagement process, or if you want someone from BNSSG CCG to come to your organisation or group to discuss the policy, please contact Ben Carlson-Davies using the contact details below.
