British Blind Sport is delighted to bring a sport taster event for people with a visual impairment to Bristol. These events have been run successfully across the country with blind and partially sighted individuals enjoying inclusive sport and physical activity with professional coaches in a safe and fun environment.
Working with Wesport and Vision West of England, join British Blind Sport for a fun filled day of physical activity and have a go at a wide range of sports. Kindly funded by the Peter Harrison Foundation, this event is free of charge and open to anyone who is blind or partially sighted, providing an opportunity to try cricket, football, guide running and many more sports.
Taking place on Saturday 15th September between 10:30am and 3pm at St Pauls Sports Centre, Newfoundland Road, St Pauls, BS2 9NH. British Blind Sport would welcome anyone with a visual impairment aged 5 and up to attend, including their friends and family.
These events are always well received and previous feedback includes:
“We had an amazing day altogether in the family. It was great to have both my VI children and their siblings involved as it made the day much more fun. Thank you for organising!’ Participant, Have a Go Day Surrey
“It was fun and the staff were supportive. The day was one to remember.” – Participant, Have a Go Day Northamptonshire.
