Multiple Disadvantage Day (3rd July)

On Wednesday 3rd July the National Lottery Community Fund is launching the first ever Multiple Disadvantage Day.

The aim of the day is to raise awareness of issues faced by people who encounter multiple disadvantage in accessing services and support.

To mark this day in Bristol, Golden Key will host an exhibition called See the Full Picture, showing creative work by people with lived experience of multiple disadvantage from across the partnership and the city.

This is a great opportunity for clients, peers and people with lived experience to share their creative work and vision.

DEADLINE for submissions is Sunday 9th June at 5pm. Follow below link for more details: http://www.goldenkeybristol.org.uk/news/exhibition-call-submissions

All selected artwork will be mounted and framed, and there will be information in the space to tell visitors about the exhibition.

Aims:

  • To provide space for people with lived experience of multiple disadvantage to share their creative work and vision
  • To raise awareness with the general public around multiple disadvantage
