Knowle West Health Park Company offers a range of services to help people improve their health. This includes health awareness classes, self help groups, counselling for men and women, play therapy for children, family therapy, parenting classes, services around weight loss and healthy eating, fitness classes suitable for everyone including people with limited mobility, walking groups, art and creativity groups, smoking cessation and a range of activities for young people, including school holidays fun sports days.
Where possible, to increase accessibility we provide a creche.
We also have a range of meeting rooms for hire.
Dealing with Others:
A free 6 week course for men and women aged 18 plus living in south Bristol.
Do your feelings sometimes get in the way of your relationships? Anxiety or anger can be difficult to manage and this course will help you understand these feelings and where they come from.

A 12 Week structured group that is fun, engaging and informative.
The sessions will help you to make changes to health and well being for you and your family. Themes covered include healthy eating, relaxation, heart disease, physical exercise, mental health, sexual health, alcohol, smoking and advice on cancer screening.

Using play, drama, and art.
Play therapy helps children/young people – aged 3 to 16 years understand themselves and their problems, and find ways to cope with distressing events. The therapist may also work with the parent to support these changes.

Non-contact Boxing for 7-11 year olds
Tuesdays 4.30-5.30pm in the studio. 80p per session.
Not only will this increase fitness and mobility, but it’s great for self esteem and confidence and building team work skills. Boys and girls will love learning a series of punches and kicks against focus pads combined with circuit based training for all round fitness. No kit or equipment needed.
After School Activity Club for 4 – 11 year olds
Each supervised session offers a mixture of games, skill tests, challenges and match activities to suit everybody, with prizes to be won. So come along, and have fun!
