Malcolm X Community Centre

The Malcolm X Community Centre provides social, recreational, educational and entertainment facilities to the residents of St Paul’s and neighbouring areas.

Services include:

1.Venue hire for business, social and cultural activities
2.Provision of office space for local groups
3.Activities for older people
4.Activities for families, children and young people
5.Advice and Support
6.Arts and Culture
7.Recycling
8.Education and Training

The Centre works with other organisations to promote cross-cultural integration in Bristol, build good race relations and providing a voice for the black and ethnic minority community in Bristol.

Other centre-based activities include the Young African Peoples Talent Show, the Elders Forum, Jamafrique Social Club, Online ICT Centre, Aerobics, Yoga, Shin Taido and various community trips.

They can accommodate outdoor events within the large car park. This includes car boot sales, fetes, Bar-B-Q’s, outdoor concerts etc.
