Samaritans – Bristol

Bristol Samaritans provide free confidential and non-judgemental telephone helpline service to any person seeking emotional support, and particularly those in imminent danger of self harm or of taking their own life. You can call them for free using a landline or mobile on 116123.

An email service is also provided to callers on jo@samaritans.org where a caring response will be received within 24 hours. A texting (SMS) service is also available on 07725 90 90 90

You can call into the Bristol Branch to see a Samaritan volunteer in person 07:30 am to 9:00 pm every day in their Centre at 37 St Nicholas Street, Bristol, BS1 1TP.
