Bristol City Council – Short Breaks for Disabled Children
We provide respite carers for families of disabled children. Short break carers care for a linked child overnight or for weekend to give carers a chance to breath, catch up with friends or spend time with other children. Children get to have sleepovers, new experiences, become more independent and meet new people.
Available to families with disabled children aged 0-18 in Bristol. Referral route is through the Disabled Children’s Team. We are always in need of carers so if anyone can spare even one weekend a month to care for a disabled child get in touch and make a huge difference to a child and their families’ life.
