Bristol City Council – Welfare Rights and Money Advice Service
The Welfare Rights and Money Advice Service (WRAMAS) provides advice, consultancy, information and training, to a range of clients, services and organisations in Bristol
We produce publicity and information. If you would like a supply of our current leaflets about benefits for disabled people, older people and full-time carers, please contact us.
We can offer some casework help. This is for vulnerable priority people who need help with claims or appeals if they’re missing out or at risk of losing weekly income. Priority groups include:
● people who get home or day care services funded by Bristol City Council
● tenants in sheltered housing
● people with a severe sensory impairment, including Deaf BSL users
● foster carers
We always have a waiting list so cannot provide immediate casework help.
If you need help with casework for someone in a priority group, please contact us.
