Social and Therapeutic Gardening Volunteers Required

Tackling social isolation and loneliness for older people and people living with dementia

Can you give two hours a fortnight to help?

Alive’s ‘Growing Support’ Social and Therapeutic Horticulture workshops enable older people in care to work together on gardening and nature-based activities, increasing their social interaction and sense of purpose and achievement.

We are looking for friendly and compassionate volunteers to help older people take part in our gardening activity sessions.

For an application pack, or more information about all of the volunteering opportunities with Alive, or other ways to support us please visit our website: or contact Sarah Mountford on or 0117 377 4756.
