Help and tips for using Well Aware

Tips for using the Quick Search bar: 

To get the most out of keyword searches, there are several different ways that you can enter your search criteria. Try to keep your search simple. A couple of words will usually do.

For example, social club’, rather than ‘evening social club for adults on a Monday’

You can also choose one of the ‘Quick Links’ on the left-hand side of the home page. Each link has an icon showing what type of services it relates to. 

Tips for using the Needs and Circumstances search function:

If you’re not sure exactly what you’re looking for, click on the ‘I’m looking for services relating to..’ needs and circumstances search function on the left-hand side of the site and find the option that most matches what you think you might be interested in or the information you are looking to find. 

For example, if you’re looking for care at home for yourself or someone else, click the option under ‘Service Type’ > Care at Home. You can then choose what area of Bristol or South Glos you would like to search in by clicking on the ‘In and Around‘ drop-down menu and choosing your desired area. This will bring up a very broad list of all the organisations on Well Aware that might be able to help with anything related to your needs, circumstances and location. 

If you change your mind about a selected criteria, click on it again to remove it from your search and click ‘APPLY’ to update the results.
