Age UK South Gloucestershire Age UK South Gloucestershire is an independent local charity. They have been working in the local community to help older people for 20 years.

Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service Dementia support service offers information and practical guidance to help you understand dementia, cope with day-to-day challenges and prepare for the future. The service offers information to people who are worried about their memory and ongoing support to people affected by dementia face to face, over the phone or in writing.

The Silverline The Silverline is ran by Age UK, it’s a free, confidential telephone service for older people. We provide friendship, conversation and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Alive Activities Alive is one of the leading practitioners in the UK of meaningful activity for older people in care. Not only do we provide meaningful engagement in care homes, we provide community activity and support through our Meeting Centres and community gardening. We run a range of innovative community and care home projects, bringing art, sport, IT, gardening and intergenerational connections to older people.

Bristol Older Peoples Forum Bristol Older People’s Forum (BOPF) represents older people across the city.  Formed in 1993 it has nearly 3,000 members aged fifty-five and above.

South Gloucestershire Over 50s Forum The Forum was formed in 1993 in order to enable people over 50 to have a voice. We have local meetings in Yate, Kingswood, Thornbury, Patchway and Emerson’s Green.

RSVP West RSVP West is a region of RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme, part of the national volunteering charity Volunteering Matters). Covers Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, together with Bath & North East Somerset.

bristolu3a– Bristol u3a is for people who want to keep active in mind and body, enjoy socialising, and are no longer in full time employment. They have around 1500 members across Bristol and South Gloucestershire who enjoy a very wide range of activities from art appreciation to yoga, crafts, chess, snooker, reading groups and so much more.
