Bristol Autism Support Bristol Autism Support is a registered charity (1186287) which exists to provide support, advice and information to parents and carers of autistic children, diagnosed or suspected, in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BaNES.Bristol Autism Support was set up in 2012 as a way to bring parents of autistic children (age 18 and under) together to share knowledge and make new friends. It began as a small pub meetup group and quickly grew! This page provides information on all of the services and support we offer.Facebook groupWe have a main Facebook support group with over 4,500 members. This group is very busy and active. Members use this to ask questions, get advice, rant and share successes. The group is only open to parents and carers of autistic children, diagnosed or suspected, living in BS postcodes. Booking is not required. Once a month we have child friendly support groups held at Super Sense. These are casual events where the whole family can join us for a fun activity, playing and socialising. We’ve done all sorts from animal handling, forest school, drumming, dancing, soft play and a evening at the aquarium.
