Roots to Wellbeing Roots to Wellbeing is a nature-based health and wellbeing support group for anyone struggling with mental health or finding life challenging. We are a leading Green Social Prescribing service. Join our weekly programme of outdoor nature connection activities in parks.Roots to Wellbeing is a friendly and relaxed group offering outdoor nature connection activities in local parks. We run both 18-week programmes and shorter 4-week courses (see below for details).Each week we guide participants to foster a deeper relationship with nature. The sessions aim to support good mental health and wellbeing, lift the mood and calm the mind as well as meeting other like-minded people.Activities include:WalksReflectionMindfulness exercisesSensory activitiesGardening activities e.g. cutting, clearing, planting, pruning and weedingSimple nature-based creative and craft activitiesThe sessions are open to anyone over 18 (and people who support them) who is interested in spending time in nature in a group setting to support their wellbeing.This is a safe and welcoming space for all. We appreciate that it can take time to feel confident and comfortable in a group and we understand that joining a new group can be anxiety-provoking.
