Tea Party groups Our tea parties are monthly social gatherings for people aged 75 and over who are feeling lonely, isolated or in need of companionship. They’re a chance to enjoy conversation, laughter, tea and cake with a small group of older guests and friendly volunteers.Each month, usually on a Sunday afternoon, a volunteer driver will collect and drive you to a local tea party, which are usually hosted in a volunteer’s home or a community space.
