Bristol Repair Cafes About What do you do with a chair when the leg has come loose? With a toaster that no longer works? Or a woollen jumper with moth holes? Toss it? No way! You can repair it at a Repair Café near you! This facebook page is the ‘notice board’ for the Repair Cafes across Bristol. Originally founded in Fishponds by Kate Jerrold, the idea of the cafes is that you can get things mended and learn how to mend things in future. Cafes across Bristol and beyond are run by volunteers and they’ll do their best to try and mend and/or advise on whatever you bring in – from lawnmowers to jumpers to toys! We recommend you turn up as early as possible to have the best chance of having your item fixed. Also please bring any accessories that are needed for the item to work so we can check them also (e.g. Charger for a laptop). If it is an unusual or very large item, it’s advisable to message the cafe first. Please note the cafes cannot guarantee to mend your item, and you bring it at your own risk We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
