The Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) is a voluntary organisation founded in 1979 by a group of mothers experienced in breastfeeding counselling. Members of the the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) are mainly mothers who are breastfeeding their babies or who have breastfed their children in the past.
It is the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers's (ABM) aim to promote the physical and psychological health of mothers and children through education in the techniques of breastfeeding, and to advance the education of the public, especially those persons concerned with the care of children, on the health benefits of breastfeeding, both immediate and long term.

Is there a cost for these services?
Breastfeeding counselling is free of charge.
Membership of the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) costs £20. Members receive the ABM breastfeeding magazine three times a year plus eNewsletters.
Do you offer concessions?
Members of low-income households can join for £15.
