A project which exists to respond to the needs and aspirations of people over 50 in the Barton Hill Area. Various groups run for a limited time at different locations in Barton Hill throughout the year. Please phone for further information or if you would like support in setting up your own group in the Barton Hill area.
A befriending scheme in partnership with Age Concern is set up for older people in the Barton Hill area.

Local history / discussion group at the Somerville Room, Barton Hill Settlement.
Keep Fit: 13:45-14:45
SHOPPING BUS runs every Tuesday and Friday and goes to a variety of local supermarkets, including Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys. Anyone over 50 can use the service, which leaves the Settlement at about 9:00am. Friendly drivers pick you up at your door and drop you off with your heavy shopping. Cost is £1.50. Places must be booked in advance.
