If your family has a deaf child or a deaf parent then please take a look at our services. We bring together families living with deafness at family sessions and we also run a youth club for deaf young people, a kids club for deaf children and a range of sign language sessions.
We encourage all of the family to become involved in our family activities and sign language classes - we welcome deaf parents and their children, hearing parents, their deaf children and siblings, children's friends, grandparents, relatives, carers and family friends. It's a great way to meet other families in the same situation and share experiences and get support. Our sign language classes include courses especially for children, grandparents and relatives, plus we run a BSL Level 1 and have regular practice sessions.
We provide a range of fun activities and learning opportunities for children and young people through our youth club and kids club. Our sessions are designed to include and engage all the children attending whatever their level of hearing and whether they use hearing aids, have cochlear implants or sign. British Sign Language (BSL) communication is always available from an interpreter, Communication Support Worker, volunteer or member of staff.
