Frenchay Hospital Cardiac Support Group was formed in Ocotber 1994 by ex-cardiac patients of Frenchay Hopsital, who felt that, following the exceptional medical care received, both the patient and family would benefit from further support during their rehabilitation. The group is for all patients and their families or carers somewhere they can contact to chat with other people who have been through the same illness, the group also organises a range of social activites which are: * Group Holiday weekends are arranged. * Dicky Tickers Skittle Team, Bowls Section, Golf Section, Fishing. * Publish a Monthly magazine. * Social Evenings are held on the second Tuesday in each month at Frenchay Hospital Club at 8pm. .

Fund Raising donations go to the Charity Shop in Lodge Causeway, Fishponds which is managed and staffed by volunteers.
