The Bridging Club is youth provision for people with learning difficulties and disabilities for ages 13-19 years.
Activities include, arts, crafts, cookery, pool, snooker, table tennis, various independent living skills, and various sports. They endeavour to go out at least once a term. They cater for all levels of learning difficulties, parents and siblings are also welcome. Older people with learning difficulties are often welcome as volunteers at the club, it can be a good insight/taster for the 'World of Work', whilst having fun at the same time. Club held at: Brimsham Green Youth Wing, Broad Lane, Yate, Bristol.
South Gloucestershire Council is providing two nights per week including one for young people with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (Bridging Club).
Times/ days of opening:
Monday - senior youth club - year 9, 10 and 11
Tuesday - junior youth club - year 7 and 8
Wednesday - Bridging Group for young people with learning
difficulties and/or disabilities, aged 13-25
Thursday - Yate Urbie Detached Project
Friday - Yate Urbie Detached Project
