The Children’s Society is a national charity that runs local projects, helping children and young people when they are at their most vulnerable, and have nowhere left to turn.
We also campaign for changes to laws affecting children and young people, to stop the mistakes of the past being repeated in the future.
Our supporters around the country fund our services and join our campaigns to show children and young people they are on their side.
Among the Society's nationwide services are the Stars National Initiative, which provides support and guidance on parental drug and alcohol misuse, and Include, a the national initiative supporting children and young people who care for parents, siblings or others who suffer from chronic illness or disability.
Full details of all services can be found on the website.
Please note: if you have a concern about the safety of a child, please contact your local council's children’s services, or the police if a child is at immediate risk.
