*FREE Personalised support for the challenges of finding work
Are you aged 19+, struggling to find work and need more personalised support?
We are running a 2 week course for unemployed South Gloucestershire residents, to support you with your search for work. The course will take place 10.30am – 2.30pm, Mon – Fri and we will help you explore your personal ambitions, work opportunities and gain confidence in dealing with knockbacks.
We will also allow you some social and networking time as a group.
Over the 2 weeks, we are offering a choice of modules across core skills’ areas, which you can
choose from, eg:
CV, communication and interview skills
managing your money and benefits in work
looking at working for yourself
IT – online job search tips, application templates, etc
Soft skills, such as confidence, resilience to knock-backs, looking after your health and
wellbeing, etc
Alongside this, you will focus on building up a portfolio of pathways into the careers you are
interested in, to help you make an informed choice. You will be given access to career coaches and
other services and you will receive certification at the end of the course to evidence your
achievements, which you can show to prospective employers.
