1625 Independent People | Well aware service – 1625 offer support young people to develop goals and a clear plan. Through support, young people can develop core employability skills including confidence, well-being, timekeeping, teamwork, communication, self-belief and motivation.
BITC Job Coaching Programme | Well aware service – Business in the Community aims to support jobseekers by providing you with a business volunteer coach who can help you with:
- Essential and digital skills
- Improved chances of getting a job
- Enhanced wellbeing and
This programme is aimed at those aged 18+ who are ready for work and would benefit from the support of a 1:1 volunteer coach.
Bristol Adult Learning Service | Well aware service – Bristol Adult Learning Service Adult Learning is part of Bristol City Council’s Employment, Skills and Learning Team. They offer a wide range of paid-for day, evening and weekend classes. Open to everyone.
Bristol Mental Health Employment Service | Well aware service – Telephone-based support to people experiencing mental health problems who are facing problems at work or searching for employment. They can also support those wishing to take steps to paid employment through volunteering, education or training.
Bristol Somali Resource Centre | Well aware service – BSRC organises training activities and workshops to enhance employment opportunities, social interaction and to help reduce isolation.
Chinese Lantern Project | Well aware service – They provide information and signposting to specialist national and local sources of help on issues such as employment and training.
Clean Slate Training & Employment | Well aware service – Help people find space to think about finding work or better-paid work and increasing their incomes. They also assist with getting online and getting hold of refurbished laptops.
Employment Support | Well aware service – One Front Door can help you navigate the employment services across Bristol. They can help you find employment, training and advice and work with you to help you develop your skills, gain experience and find the job that is right for you.
