About the Community Climate Action project

Bristol is aiming to stop its carbon emissions by 2030 to help slow the climate crisis.

This issue is important to Disabled people. Firstly, because we are some of the people most at risk from the climate crisis. Secondly, because action on the climate can make difficulties for us or make our lives better. To make sure that these changes are for the better we need to take part in creating Bristol’s climate plans.

The Bristol Disability Equality Forum is joining Bristol Green Capital Partnership’s Community Climate Action project. For this work we will bring Disabled people together to give feedback on the city’s plans and to create a climate plan for Disabled people in Bristol.

Big changes are coming. Let’s make sure that these changes are good for us and the planet.
